4501 Lake Forest Drive

SEE FULL VIDEO TOUR. The name came first. Bellosguardo, Italian for "beautiful view" is the hillside above Florence where the city spreads out below you at dusk. Villa Bellosguardo earns that name at 4501 Lake Forest Dr., a gated custom Tuscan estate on 3.2 acres in Sterling Pointe, Loomis, Placer County, California. Look west in the evening, glass of wine in hand, as golden sunsets settle over the valley below. The approach is intentional. A private gate opens to a sweeping drive. Mature landscaping unfolds on both sides. The estate comes into view slowly, the way it was designed to. Custom-built in 2001, the home offers approximately 4,356 sqft with 3 bedrooms, an office or optional 4th bedroom, and 3.5 baths. The primary suite sits on the main level and features a custom-built walk-in closet. The chef's kitchen is built for people who actually cook: a Thermador range, built-in Sub-Zero refrigerator, two dishwashers, a custom ice maker, and a center island with prep sink. It opens to a spacious family room with a gas fireplace and a breakfast nook framing the landscaped rear grounds. Upstairs, a private retreat offers a bedroom, full bath, and a generous sitting area with room for a pool table. It works equally well as guest quarters, a game room, or a dedicated home office wing. Outside is where the estate makes its case. An infinity-edge pool reaches toward the horizon, with a pool house alongside. A private vineyard occupies a portion of the grounds. Roughly two-thirds of the 3.2 acres is usable, an uncommon ratio in the Loomis foothills and the reason this property lives larger than its square footage. A 4-car attached garage with workshop, plus room for boat, RV, and toy storage, all sits securely behind the gate. Sterling Pointe is defined by space, privacy, and access to the outdoors. Generous custom homesites and a private community park set the tone, while scenic trails to Folsom Lake begin just outside your front door. Assigned to Placer Elementary and Del Oro High School, and only minutes from shopping, dining, and freeway access, Sterling Pointe brings refined living and natural beauty together without compromise. Tuscan estates are not rare in the Sacramento foothills. Gated custom Tuscan estates on 3.2 mostly usable acres, with an infinity pool, a private vineyard, a 4-car garage, and trails to Folsom Lake, are. Villa Bellosguardo was named for a view. Stand on the terrace as the sun drops into the western sky, and the name explains itself.
